DAY OF THE LORD - ORDER OF EVENTS

B. WORLD WIDE DARKNESS

17/  THICK DARKNESS (both physical and spiritual) COVERS THE EARTH BEFORE THE LORD APPEARS  (year 3 1/2 of the Day of the Lord)

NOTE:  This will be a very trying time for about 3 days, hold on to your faith.

Darkness will cover the earth,
and gross darkness the people
Isa.60:2

Sun darkened,
moon turned to blood,
before the great
day of the Lord.
Joel 2:31 & Acts 2:20

The light is darkened
in the heavens.
Isa.5:30

Through the Lord's wrath
the land is darkened.
Isa.9:19

Howl, for the day of the Lord is at hand,
it shall come as a destruction
from the Almighty.
Isa.13:6

The sun shall be darkened
and the moon will not shine.
Isa.13:10

The earth shall mourn
and the heavens above be black.
Jer.4:28

The day of the Lord is
gloominess, clouds, thick darkness,

17A - CONTINUOUS DARKNESS FOR 3 DAYS AND NIGHTS

There was thick darkness
in all Egypt for 3 days.
Israelite's homes had light.
Exo.10:21-23

Jonah in the whale
3 days and three nights
Jesus in the earth (tomb)
3 days and 3 nights
Mat.12:40

Saul, (at his conversion)
was 3 days without sight.
Acts 9:1-9

17B - DARKNESS --- WATCH AND PRAY FOR YOU KNOW NOT WHAT HOUR OF THE NIGHT YOUR LORD WILL APPEAR

Wash your clothes,
come not at your wives,
be ready for the 3rd day.
Exo.19:14-15

Prepare to meet your God.
Amos 4:12

The Master my come at
evening, midnight, cockcrowing or morning.
watch----lest coming suddenly
He find you sleeping,
Mark 13:35-37

If the housekeeper had known
what hour the thief would come,
he would have watched.
Watch therefore, for you know not
what hour your Lord comes.

All the virgins slept till midnight.

NOTE:  No one knows the day and hour, but the children of light know that the time is near.

18/  HIDDEN BY DARKNESS, THE HOLY CITY CONTAINING GOD AND JESUS ON THE THRONE AND ALL THE DEPARTED SAINTS, ENTERS OUR SOLAR SYSTEM (This is year 3 1/2 of the Day of the Lord)  (Scientifically this would be possible when the 9 planets are in line.)

He holds back the face (presence)
of His throne.
(by darkness covering the earth)

He came down,
darkness was under His feet,
darkness was His secret place,
thick clouds of the skies
were around Him.

Clouds and darkness are about Him.

18A - AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT OF DARKNESS (year 3 1/2 Day of the Lord)

The day of the Lord comes
as a thief in the night
after peace and safety.
1 Thes. 5:2-4

The day of the Lord will come
as a thief in the night.
2 Peter 3:10

I will come as a thief.
Re. 3:3  16:15
