CITY IN THE SKY - Chapter Twenty Three
THE SACRED VERSUS THE OCCULT
In the physical realm there is Science -- the knowledge and working of physical things. In the spiritual realm there is that which is SACRED (+) -- the knowledge and working of Almighty God. And in the spiritual realm there is that which is OCCULT (-) -- the knowledge and working of satan, the god of this world.
%%%%%%%%%%%% (+) By astronomy we see that the heavens declare the glory of God (-) By astrology we see that satan uses the stars to control the lives of people who do not want to be controlled by God.
(+) The knowledge of God brings love, joy, peace, forgiveness, eternal life ans a desire to worship God and help our fellowman to find God. (-) The occult offers love (sex), power, riches, pleasures and authority over your fellowman.
%%%%%%%%%%%% (+) God gives salvation and deliverance from the carnal desires of the lower nature. He gives life to the spirit of man so that man desires the pleasure of God's presence in God's house. (-) The strategy of satan is that your natural physical desires are honorable and should receive full gratification here on earth right now.
%%%%%%%%%%%% (+) Read the Bible, meditate upon what it says and speak with God about your needs. Worship God from your heart and love your fellowmen. This will enable you to be filled with God's Spirit and be victorious over the world, the flesh and the devil. (-) To read occult literature and forbidden knowledge, to meditate upon a meaningless mantra, to play with magic, hypnotism, or ouija boards,to seek knowledge from stars, palm readers or mediums, to be obsessed with sex or food or things of this world, may get you possessed by demons, may put you in an insane asylum, and may send your soul to the place of wicked spirits. For those in satan's clutches it is impossible, apart from God, to escape! %%%%%%%%%%%%
