Chapter Nine
THE THREE FOREVERS
1/ A THOUSAND GENERATIONS
God keeps covenant with them
that love Him and keep His commandments,
to a thousand generations.
Deu.7:9
Be mindful always of His covenant:
the word which He commanded
to a thousand generations,
the covenant He made to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to Israel
for an everlasting covenant, saying
unto you will I give the land of Canaan.
1 Chronicles 16:15-18
He remembered His covenant
(to Abraham's seed, Gen.17:7)
forever,
the word which He commanded
to a thousand generations.
Psalm 105:8
NOTE: From Abraham to Jesus was
2058 years and 42 generations (Mat.1:17), making a Jewish generation 49
years (see Lev.25:8-10). A thousand generations would be 49,000
years or 7 ages each with 7000 years.
2/ UNTIL DAY AND NIGHT CEASE
He makes a boundary for the sea
until day and night end.
Job 26:10
They shall fear Thee
as long as sun and moon endure,
throughout all generations.
Psalm 27:5
Earth and sky will grow old like a
garment
and be changed.
Psalm 102:25-27
If day and night stop
then the seed of Israel will cease being
a nation before the Lord.
Jer.31:35-36
As long as there is day and night
God will multiply,
as the stars of the sky,
the seed of David to sit upon David's throne,
and the Levites as priests to minister.
Jer.33:20-22
3/ NEVER ENDING ETERNITY
The sky will vanish like smoke,
the earth and its inhabitants will grow old
like a garment and die,
but My salvation and righteousness
will not be abolished forever.
Isaiah 51:6
Earth and sky will perish,
but you O Lord will endure,
they will be changed
but You are the same:
Your rears have no end.
Hebrews 1:10-12
